Robert Rich is exhibiting his watercolor paintings at Studio 33 Art & Frame Gallery in an exhibit that Celebrates CT Maritime Heritage Festival 2017. Robert has been a professional artist for over 30 years, inspired by the maritime scenes in the Horatio Hornblower novels he read when he was young. He has received numerous awards: Division Award for Newspaper Illustration 2003 & 2005; Finalist in 2010 & 2012, 2011 Ruben Award, First Place NENPA Award, Illustration, New England Associated Press Newspaper Editors; New England Newspaper & Press Association; UPI, and the Society of Professional Journalists. He is a member of the, American Society of Marine Artists, and the National Cartoonists Society. His art work tiled “Harkness Park, October” in the 2 If By Sea exhibit has sold.
